Our Story
Our motivation stems from a deep passion for curating exceptional experiences, ensuring every detail reflects your individuality and style. This love started from the time Amber was a child, helping prepare for all of the parties and get-togethers that her family would host. Fast-forward through many roles in the hospitality industry and that love for helping host wonderful gatherings still runs deep.
Amber came up with the company name “Refined Planning” to show people just how easy it is to work with a planner. We want to hear about your life, your vision, your guests, your preferences, and want you to feel SEEN. Your best interest is always at the heart of our decisions, because we strive to live by the golden rule. For as long as Amber can remember, she never planned to own a company, AND YET, here we are (People make plans, and God laughs!). We love what we do… Working with people, and serving them to the best of our ability. Our goal is that people to walk away after working with us and have a refined expectation of what they should receive from the hospitality industry. To serve requires a servants heart, without it you will be left with a cookie-cutter-event where you must fit the mold you’re given. That’s not what we are! Let’s make things uniquely YOU!
